Will WhatsApp not run on iPhones?

WhatsApp has discontinued support for Apple's operating system iOS 9, after which the chat application will now only run on iPhone 5 or later Apple smartphones.

According to foreign media, the support document released by WhatsApp states that WhatsApp has ended its support for iOS 9 and now WhatsApp will run only on phones running on iOS 10 released in 2016. ۔

Note that until now, WhatsApp could be used on iPhones with iOS 9, but now the end of support means that WhatsApp will not be available to users with iPhone 4 series.

Users who have an iPhone 5 or later model but still have iOS 9 installed on it will have to upgrade to iOS 10 to run the WhatsApp.

Earlier last year, WhatsApp also stopped supporting WhatsApp for devices running iOS 8.
